Shweta Kawaatra Television actor on off-screen romance between television actors.Do you think that long working hours is one of the main reasons for television stars to fall in love with their colleagues? When you are working for such long hours shooting for daily soaps, one doesn't have the time to go out anywhere and socialise or meet new people. The only people you come across are your colleagues as you work with them for 10-12 hours a day.
In light of such tight schedules, one really doesn't feel like going out and socialising because reporting for an early morning shoot is not an easy task. So amidst such hectic schedules, falling in love with your colleagues is natural. Do you think offscreen couples should work together?I think why not. Though Manav and I haven't exactly worked together other than doing a few odd cameos but we would love to work together. I think it would be very interesting as you are most comfortable with that person. I feel working with someone you know so well would also help to enhance your performance. The timing is also well understood between your partner and you. And then it is great to work together for the relationship too. Especially the outdoor shoots are good as it turns into a holiday of sorts and we get to spend a lot of time together.Do you think personal romances add up to onscreen chemistry too?Definitely they do. Like I said, one is most comfortable onscreen with the person one is involved with. And of course personal romance and the chemistry would show on the screen. Do you think directors keep that in mind while casting? Unfortunately not. But then I wouldn't know it about it.
